Black on black, challenge wheels, and looks to be lowered by an inch.

All it would need differently is a 6-speed manual gearbox and Ferrari Race bucket seats.

For sale for $124k.

I can't decide if I like the looks of the F430 or the 2nd gen Gallardo better.

Both are amazing.

Don't forget the R8 V10 with that gated shifter.

If I were seriously in the market for an F430, it would make sense to pony up another 30k and buy the Scuderia. It wont drop below 120k, it'll hover below 150k for a few years, and then begin creeping up again. Similar to the 360 CS, which could be had 100k a few years back and now has crossed the 130k mark again.

Best thing about the R8 is that it doesn't share the plasticky buttons of the F430. Much nicer interior.

An orange LP570-4 SL is honestly one of the prettiest cars in existence.

I definitely like the R8 V10 6MT. My order as far as exterior looks goes:

1st (Tied): 2nd gen Gallardo, F430

2nd: R8

3rd: First gen Gallardo

The R8 does have the best interior

The window switches suck! They get scratched and dented so quickly. The plastic is really soft and rubbery. Probably from the parts bin for the cheapest Fiat economy car.

The LP570-SL and its open top brother are amazing. I would take one in any color. The carbon fiber diffuser gives me tingles.

It's just so beautifully aggressive. Here's one of my favorite pictures, albeit not in orange.

So nice! That is the one Gallardo color I haven't seen in person yet. I really want to.

I went to the local Lambo dealer last Saturday to get info for a potential future purchase. I can't make something happen right now but I might be able to next year if I work my butt off.

Seeing these cars up close in multiple colors was really great. They're both aggressive and very finely built. The build quality for recent Lambos seems so good. My old man has an F430 and the 2nd gen Gallardo's build quality seems to be higher. I can't wait to see the new car in the flesh.

Nice to hear that you're that close to realizing your automotive dreams. Also nice to hear you've got a Fezza in the fam. Stick I hope?

What's always seem like a bargain to me is the Gallardo Superleggera. Methinks it'll stand the test of time. And a full alcantara interior is just the cherry on the cake. Maybe you could even pick one up with straight pipes. Orancio and Grigio Telesto are the must have colours for the SL.

I once road tripped from Belgium to France to the UK in an LP560-4, and another time I had a Gallardo Spyder for a day. Takeaways were that these cars were very solid and less finicky then a similarly priced Ferrari. Power was immense, and felt more explosive than anything I had experienced before. What did bother me however was the AWD system. At speed it gives you confidence, but at manoeuvring around town speeds it jolts the car quite aggressively.

I still can't quite decide which car I find prettier. I suppose it's the F430's curvaceous lines.

Check out this vid to get your mouth watering over the Gallardo SL (4:00 mark):

Agreed, now is the time if you got the cake. Oh well, 6 speed gated shifter would be cooler anyways!

Thanks for the vid, I'll check it out. And thanks for the insight on the Gallardo.

The old man's car isn't stick, unfortunately. He's trying to fix an issue with the F1 as I type this.

I agree that the SL and it's open top brother might stand the test of time.

I had read about the AWD being annoying around town. The good thing is that it can be removed!
